Serving God, Serving People

All who are believers of Jesus Christ are ministers of the Gospel.

Our members of the church play an important role, serving one another in the capacity that God has given them. Having said that, we do have a few that are employed by the church. They are like the core group that firstly, ensure that the Word of God is preached faithfully and secondly, help the church to function administratively as well as it is possible.

Our Staff

Nathan Killick
Senior Pastor

Nathan is married to Elizabeth and they have three children. Nathan studied at the Church Army College of Evangelism and then at Moore Theological College in Sydney. He has also completed an M.A. in Theology. Nathan has oversight of Bible teaching and co-ordination of activities at church. He loves to communicate the surprising message of the Bible week by week. He also enjoys watching his kids swim, play soccer, drum, play guitar and do ballet (but not all at once!). He also likes to play guitar but wishes he was better at it.

Travis Macnamara
Associate Pastor

Travis is married to the beautiful Ruth, and they have the joy of raising four kids (who keep them on their toes!). Coming from the great land of Douglas Park (South West Sydney), Travis had worked full-time in Radiology for many years while serving in their local church. Moving with his family to the Camden Haven and finished a Master of Ministry (MMin) from Ridley Bible College, he is excited about seeing everyone grow in understanding the true awesomeness of Jesus. When not doing what must be done, you’d find him near the shed/ coffee machine/ trying to surf/ wrestling the kids or doing a casual shift at the Port Base Hospital.

Simon Abramowicz
Associate Pastor
Lake Cathie/Bonny Hills Congregation
Simon is married to Bonny and they have 2 beautiful boys. Simon grew up in Sydney and Bonny grew up in Port Macquarie. He’s got a background in Health and Exercise Science and completed a Bachelor of Theology at Ridley College. Simon is deeply passionate about building the local church and seeing all people encounter the beauty and relevance of Jesus. He is also a burger and black coffee fanatic, an aspiring triathlete and a Wallabies and Canterbury Bulldogs tragic.
Jennie Baker

Jennie is a true local, having grown up in the Camden Haven. She is married to Mick and has three adult children, two wonderful daughters-in-law, and three beautiful grandkids whom she adores. She is passionate about sharing the good news of Jesus with the youth, ensuring that the next generation will come to know of his great love for them and what it looks like to follow him. She is currently studying a Diploma of Theology through Ridley Bible College. Jennie also loves spending time with her family and friends, camping, surfing and getting out in the great outdoors.
Chrissie Norrie
Children Minister
Chrissie and her family moved into the Camden Haven area in 2023. She has spent the last few years working as a teacher’s aide in Christian schools and homeschooling her son. She loves walking alongside children as they learn and grow and sharing the hope and joy that comes with being children of God with the awesome Children’s Ministry team of volunteers, the children and their families. Chrissie loves exploring nature, spending time with family and being creative.
Donna Austin
Administrator

Donna is married to Gerard and they have five adult children and six grandchildren. The family moved to the Camden Haven for a two-year stay in 1998 but found they didn’t want to leave the area and their church family. Donna works part-time in administration and feels that she has the best job as she not only gets to be involved in the running of the church but also gets to help people with practical issues. She loves being of service to others and having cuppas with friends. Donna has enjoyed watching the growth in our church family and looks forward to exciting times of growth in the future.

Ben Chin

Aliya grew up in the Camden Haven area and graduated from St Columba Anglican School in 2024. In 2025, she’s taking a gap year to intern with the church while also working as a support worker and managing social media for a local buyer’s agent. She hopes to start university in the coming years. Passionate about serving kids, youth, and the wider church community, Aliya loves coming alongside others to encourage and support their faith in Jesus. She also enjoys the creative arts, singing, catching up with friends, and spending time outdoors.
